Project Description: Technofella was hired to complete a multimillion dollar redesign of Directv.com, Call Center and Point of Sales applications. This highly scalable, distributed and fault tolerant system was built using SOA principles and required integration with more than a dozen internal and customer facing applications. The redesign included complete data center reimplementation and co-location. Post implementation Technofella was responsible for advanced problem resolution including but not limited to Memory Leaks, Clustering Problems, Garbage Collection Spikes, Excessive DB Access, Code â€œBottlenecksâ€ and â€œHot Spotsâ€, Concurrency Problems. In addition to technical projects Technofella helped prepare DirecTV for Sarbanes-Oxley audit and certification.
